Mold Testing
Lab-certified mold testing services in South Florida — accurate results you can trust, delivered by an independent licensed assessor.
What Is Mold Testing?
Mold testing goes beyond a visual inspection — it involves collecting air and/or surface samples from your property and having them analyzed by an accredited laboratory. The results tell us exactly what species of mold are present, at what concentration, and whether levels pose a health risk.
Types of Mold Testing We Offer
- Air Sampling (Spore Trap) — Captures airborne mold spores inside your home and compares them to outdoor baseline levels to detect elevated concentrations.
- Surface Sampling (Swab / Tape Lift) — Identifies the species of mold growing on a specific surface such as drywall, wood, or tile.
- Bulk Sampling — A piece of building material is sent to the lab for in-depth analysis, commonly used when mold is embedded in materials.
- ERMI Testing — An advanced dust-collection method that provides a comprehensive mold index score for your home.
What Happens After Testing?
All samples are sent to an independent, accredited laboratory for analysis. Within 24–48 hours, you’ll receive a detailed lab report along with Michael Kershner’s professional interpretation — plain language, no jargon, and clear next steps if remediation is needed.
Because MoldXperts is an inspection-only firm, our recommendations are 100% unbiased. We have no financial interest in whether you remediate or not.
